About the firm

A firm built for the space between too big and too small.

Global consultancies bring frameworks and invoices to match. Independent contractors bring rates you can defend but risk you can’t. Lionhawk was built to close that gap, and the gap between strategy and execution.

What we are

Change advisory, not slide-based consulting.

Business consultancy and change advisory are often confused because both aim to improve performance. In practice they differ. Traditional consultancy is centered on analysis, diagnosis, and recommendations, and the responsibility for implementation usually stays with the client. Lionhawk Change Advisory goes further: we support governance, coordination, implementation, and adoption, so a strong strategy actually becomes executed, sustained change.

We serve banks, insurers, healthcare organizations, government-related entities, and fintech companies, organizations where a missed regulatory deadline or a failed transformation isn’t an inconvenience, it’s a board-level event. We do three things well, and we do not do everything. That is deliberate.

Our model

Three capabilities, one integrated discipline.

Instead of separating strategy from delivery, we connect them. Instead of treating compliance as a downstream activity, we build it in early. Instead of assuming adoption will happen, we plan for it.

01

Program & project management

The backbone of transformation: roadmaps, governance forums, milestone and dependency tracking, risk and issue escalation, and executive reporting that keeps every workstream aligned and accountable.

02

Regulatory change management

From interpretation to implementation: impact assessment, requirement-to-process and control mapping, policy coordination, and readiness tracked to completion, with the traceability audits require.

03

Change management services

The human side: stakeholder analysis, communications, readiness assessment, training coordination, and reinforcement, so people understand the change and adopt new ways of working.

Our philosophy

We bridge the gap between strategy and execution.

Strategy decks are easy. Execution under regulatory scrutiny is not. Our advisory philosophy is simple: bring enterprise-grade discipline to organizations that need it, scope it honestly, and stay accountable for outcomes rather than activity. Every engagement is built as if a regulator will read it, because in the industries we serve, one eventually will.

How we work
  • Confidentiality first — an NDA is available before any detailed conversation; no client named without written permission.
  • Fixed scope where possible — we would rather define the work precisely than bill open-ended hours.
  • Examiner’s-eye view — we build everything as if a regulator will read it.
  • Direct communication — you get the honest assessment, including when it’s that you don’t need us.
Structure and origin

How we’re built.

Lionhawk is a Wyoming-registered LLC operating across New England and the broader United States, founded by a career practitioner after fifteen-plus years inside Tier-1 banking and global enterprise transformation. The firm is intentionally small: one senior principal, a vetted bench of specialists for surge capacity, and no leverage-model pyramid to feed. When you hire Lionhawk, you are hiring the person you met on the first call.

Leadership

Meet the founder.

Arun Mohan, Managing Principal

Arun Mohan

Managing Principal

As a Vice President and senior advisor in compliance and regulatory change at a Tier-1 U.S. bank, Arun led regulatory change governance across multiple U.S. banking subsidiaries, translating OCC, CFPB, and Federal Reserve requirements into governance the business could execute and examiners could verify. Earlier, he delivered multi-million-dollar infrastructure savings through core system decommissioning, raised enterprise release success rates above 98%, and directed a 22-person cross-functional team through enterprise change at a global corporation. He holds an MBA and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), and Agile-certified practitioner.

The results, stated plainly

  • Reduced compliance and audit risk exposure by more than a third at a Tier-1 U.S. bank
  • Governed regulatory change programs to a clean audit record, zero material findings
  • Accelerated executive decisions through change-saturation dashboards across eight subsidiaries
  • Raised enterprise release success rates from 88% to above 98%
